market, with its 55mm mahogany body, twin
humbuckers, a 3-way switch and push pull switches on
the volume and tone pots giving no less than eight
combinations including tapping and out of phase

...Cyclone Japanese spec models, had the very
distinctive multi coloured rainbow colored finish
which became a top seller. |

...is a very limited edition Japanese spec model,
finished in a yellow and red rainbow fade effect
with dolphin abalone inlays. |

Tidalwave
EXP
...is another limited edition Japanese market
model, which had the Cyclone's 55mm thick body
with the Tidalwave HSH pick-up configuration. |

Typhoon
Models included the Typhoon I, II and III initially
and later the
Typhoon S, which was more like the
Tidalwave but with a HSS configuration. |

Tidalwave
Originally just called the Tidalwave ,it later
became the Tidalwave II and III, then the 'Tidalwave
custom'.
Later models were called the Tidalwave R. |

WG-30
Palm Bay's trip into the electro acoustic market
settled down with the WG-30 in coloured maple and
spruce top versions with mahogany back and sides. |

Basses
Although Palm Bay are not well known as a bass
producer, two models were made in four string
called the 'Atlantic' and ' Pacific'. The difference
between the two being a coloured and bound top
finish on the 'Pacific' and a carved mahogany and
maple body on the 'Atlantic'. |

Lightning
This is the only production fixed bridge model with
variants being the F-3, F-2 and F-1. The
F-1 being the top model with a wiring and pickup
configuration the same as the Cyclone, but a body style
based on the Pacific bass guitar. |
